Chalice Camp will be:

Mon-Fri, June 1-5 2026, 9:00am-4:00pm

Participation in the Sunday service centered around camp on June 7th is encouraged, but optional.

Who is Chalice Camp for?

Chalice Camp is for rising* kindergarten through 12th grade youth. 

K-6th participate as campers, 7th–9th participate as campers and camp helpers, and high school youth 10th–12th lead activities and support younger campers.

Throughout the week campers take part in both whole-group and small-group activities. High school youth help lead these activities, while middle school ages support as helpers. Time is set aside for high school youth to participate in their own youth group space. 

We aim to be an inclusive community by recognizing that all children come to camp with diverse backgrounds and therefore different needs. If your child is unable to participate in activities in an age-appropriate way, reach out to Sol to discuss possibilities. If we have enough volunteers, we might be able to accommodate children who need one-on-one support. 

*Ex. A child entering kindergarten in fall 2026 is K, a child who just graduated 8th grade and is entering 9th grade in fall 2026 is 9th.

Chalice Camp is 9:00am-4:00pm

- Campers can arrive at or after 8:50am, and must be picked up no later than 4:15pm in order to allow our volunteer staff to prepare for the next day's activities.  
- Youth Leaders arrive by 8:30am and stay until 4:30pm to prepare and clean up. 

TUITION:

* Registration form will show their current (25-26) grade

- Campers and Camp Helpers (rising 1st-9th graders, current K-8th graders): $250 for families affiliated with First UU or other UU churches.
- Campers and Camp Helpers (rising 1st-9th graders): $350 for families unaffiliated with UU churches.
- Youth Leaders (rising 10th-12th graders): $Free (will lead activities throughout the day, help with preparation and clean up)

DISCOUNTS:
- $50 off for siblings with code SIBLING. 
- Volunteers receive $50 off tuition for every 4 hours of volunteer work. Please register as a volunteer, decide how much you'd like to help out, and subtract that amount from your payment, using the Partial Payment option. 
4 or more hours = $50 off
8 or more hours = $100 off
12 or more hours = $150 off
16 or more hours = $200 off
20 or more hours = $250 off

How can I help with Chalice Camp?

WE NEED ADULT VOLUNTEERS! Discounts are available on your camper's tuition, and the discount gets greater the more you help! A room will be available with space to work or relax while your kids are at camp. This is especially helpful for families with a long drive to camp and for volunteers who are helping for part of the day and need to work during the remaining time.
